About Daniel Langevin
Coach level 3 of the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), Daniel Langevin is the club pro at the Club de Golf Verchères since 1992 and is the head coach of the Carabins men and women teams of the Université de Montreal since the 2005-2006 season. He led the men's team to their Eastern Canadian Champion title in 2006-2007. Supervisory-coach of the Golf-Études Montreal South-Shore program since 2001, he is also the head coach of the provincial CPGA Québec zone Golf-Études program since 2006. He received the awards for the Golf Teacher of the year for the Quebec CPGA division in 2006 and the Elite Golf Teacher and coach of the year in 2009. He was also nominated on the "Top 100 teachers" list of Golf Magazine in 2007. He made a few professional development sessions with M. Hank Haney between 1997 and 2007. Consultant on the elaboration of the Long Term Player Development Program (LTPD) for Golf Canada (RCGA), he trains provincial and national athletes since 1997.
Member of the CPGA as a class A Head professional since 1992, he obtained successes as a player before becoming a coach: winner of the Golf Holiday’s Pro-Am of Hawaï in 1997, of the National Infinity CPGA Pro-AM in Phoenix in 1995 and of the Bordeaux-Québec Cup (individual section) in 1993, besides a 2nd position in the Long drive Bell Challenge in 1991 and 1993. He also has a world record in an international competition finishing with an eagle-birdie-albatross (-6) on the last three holes in Phoenix en 1995. He also participated in many events on the provincial, Canadian and Nike circuits from 1989 to 1999.
